Mona McLendon

Mona McLendon is the owner of Hall Bookkeeping, where she empowers entrepreneurial tradesmen and small businesses to reach their financial growth goals through trusted, high-value accounting services. At a young age, Mona loved working with numbers. While she was in college, she worked with her aunts at their family-owned business, Hall Bookkeeping and Tax Service. After graduating college, receiving her CPA license, working at an accounting firm as financial controller for five years, and even teaching accounting for seven years, Mona returned home in 2022 and bought the family business. She had always dreamed of being able to do this, and when her aunt became older and could no longer physically run the business, Mona took this as the perfect opportunity to fulfill her dream. Mona’s father was an electrician and HVAC specialist. After so many years of watching her father and how he strove to please his clients, entrepreneurial endeavors held a special place in Mona’s heart. Because of her father’s influence, Mona feels it is very rewarding to help those people in entrepreneurships such as plumbing, landscaping, construction contracting, etc. grow their businesses. Working with these individuals is so worthwhile for Mona because of their dedication to their trade/business and their appreciation for her efforts to assist them. Mona is committed to providing accurate and dependable bookkeeping, tax preparation, and financial support for businesses. She strives to simplify financial processes, ensure compliance, and help her clients stay organized so they can focus on growth and success. Through personalized service and attention to detail, she builds lasting relationships based on trust and reliability. Although Mona loves her job and clients, her passion is her family: her husband, Keven and their three children-Avery, Briley, and Garrett. When she is not providing accounting and bookkeeping services for her wonderful clients, Mona can be found in her favorite vacation spot--the mountains of East Tennessee--with her family.
